Dindigul IMA Members From 1975 onwards, Dr.J.Paramasivam took over as President and had a long stint at the helm till the year 2000.The post of Hon.Secretary saw a change of personnel from Dr.T.C.S.Veeramani ( 6 years), followed by Dr.Mohan Mallayya (1 year) to Dr.K.Ramachandran, who continued till the year 2000.During this period, doctors had to renew their membership annually.
CME sessions were held once a month in rented premises.Dr.J.Paramasivam and Dr.K.Ramachandran strived hard to keep the IMA flag flying. By the year 2000,the medical fraternity of Dindigul had grown in number.

This was achieved within a span of 9 months, a record of sorts. IMA Hall in Dindigul came into being on 27/01/02.The same team continued in office till 2004, settling financial matters and streamlining administrative work, that go hand in hand with any such developmental work. For their relentless hard work, the crew was decorated with many State Awards: Best Branch Award, Best Secretary Award, Award for Maximum Life Membership Enrolments and Individual Award to Dr.C.Muralidharan for best Tamil Magazine.
